Artist Statement


The magical process of an idea in my
 mind becoming a three-dimensional
 creation from clay, takes me on a    spiritual journey that I cannot
explain.My creations take a retrospective view of a bygone era while legitimately exploring the realities of its present impact on my cultural experiences. I strive to acknowledge the humanity of each exquisitely crafted sculpture by capturing the spirit of each work of art that I create. While I may not have the antidote to the seemingly grim plight that many have experienced and continue face daily,  I hope that each one of my creations will speak to your soul and embrace you according to your life journey.
